Adding the Suntech photochromic material to the monomer mix creates Solio 1.55 Suntech. This product is more elastic and flexible, removing much of the risk involved when faceting or fitting in frames. Details.

In order to upgrade the performance and lifetime of the base lens, Hoya offers a number of lens surface treatments. To meet the expectations of the patient, some treatments are standard, whilst others are optional. Stringent quality control standards are imposed not only for the lens process, but for the entire manufacturing process, right through our coatings.

HARD
Hard is a customized scratch resistant coating, tailored to the specific index of lenses. Available to order or as standard with some of premium lenses, Hard also forms the base coat for all our Anti-Reflection coatings.

Hi VISION VIEWPROTECT
With a low electrostatic load attracts very little dust, keeping the lenses cleaner for longer water droplets and oil have virtually no grip on the lens surface. Lenses do not mist over with condensation when switching between cold and warm surroundings. Details.

SUNTECH
Hoya's photochromic coating. A photochromic top layer which is applied to the front surface of the lens using Hoya’s high performance spin coating technology. The ideal solution for your customers who want to wear thin and light lenses with photochromic properties in conventional or rimless mounts. Details.

HI VISION AQUA & HARD HM
Hoya’s Hi Vision Aqua coating increases light transmission to over 99%, allowing a significant level of light to reach the eye in a wide range of light conditions. It is characterized by a consistent green reflex color.
Hoya’s Hard HM Anti-Reflection coating increases light transmission to 98.6% and is characterized by a consistent blue reflex color. The Hard HM multicoat is made complete by the addition of Hoya’s Hard scratch resistant coating and Aquacoat treatment.
