Our Spin Coating technique ensures a constant 30-micron thin photochromic

A classic example of the stringent quality requirements that Hoya sets itself is the unique Spin Coating technique that is used for the Eyas 1.60 Suntech. Using advanced, fully computer-controlled equipment, the photochromic material is unilaterally applied to the surface in an exceptionally accurate manner. The photochromic molecules are then activated. During the follow-up treatment, special emphasis is placed on the adhesion to the basic high index plastic Eyas 1.60, a reliable composite with a long life-span.

Eyas 1.60 has gained an excellent reputation for its multifaceted qualities.

 1.55 SUNTECH  
Solio 1.55 Suntech Gray and Brown
 
Especially for customers who require a competitive price combined with high quality, Hoya has developed an entirely new photochromic 1.55 index plastic material. Adding the Suntech photochromic material to the monomer mix creates Solio 1.55 Suntech. This is produced in the material with the same distinctive characteristics as the Suntech layer applied to Eyas 1.60 by Spin Coating.

Solio 1.55 is highly elastic and
flexible

Solio 1.55 Suntech is elastic and flexible, removing much of the risk involved when faceting or fitting in frames. In addition, Solio 1.55 is perfect for the application of a hard coating and a Hi-Vision antireflective coating. Thanks to its excellent material qualities and improved specifications, the Solio 1.55 will soon belong to your list of favorite Hoya materials.
